Award-winning musical composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber based on Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats and other poems by T. S. Eliot.

Jennifer Hope Wills

ANGEL OF MUSIC

I first met Jennifer Hope Wills "Christine" in the Broadway production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera in 2006 when I was invited backstage to meet the cast.

Over time Jennifer and I shared a few emails back and forth but my coolest "Christine" moment happen when my high school theatre class took a field trip to NYC in January of 2007.

I had told Mrs. Denny (the drama teacher) that I might be able to get a quick backstage tour after the performance for our group...she did not believe me.

Some of my friends thought I was nuts and laughed at me to suggest I had the ability to get backstage.

After the performance Mrs. Denny had us standing where the actors exit the theatre, almost everyone in the group with a pen and Playbill in hand "Hoping" for an autograph. That when Jennifer Hope Wills (a.k.a. Christine) steps out she sees me and calls me by my name. All the guys' in our group mouths fall open in disbelief.

Jennifer and I talked for awhile and my friends went crazy they could not get over that I knew "Christine", and that she knew me.

I bet Jennifer knew what was going on and she played it up to make me look good in front of my school mates.

Thanks Jennifer
