Hudson Theatre on BroadwayHudson Theatre Backstage

I was so excited and extremely happy as I waited to go on stage at the Hudson Theater... after all it was not that long ago when I saw "The Phantom of the Opera" for the first time.

At twelve years old in the Saenger Theater (New Orleans) I found an unlikely hero in the character, set my goal to perform as "The Phantom of the Opera" on Broadway and change people perceptions of individuals with facial differences.

That is why this preformance, this evening, this stage at the Hudson Theater is such a magical moment in my life.

Singing at the Hudson Theatre on Broadway and 44th Street in NYC with Gary Mauer (a.k.a.The Phantom).

Gary Mauer

While Andrew Lloyd Webber is not calling me to play the Phantom at the Majestic Theatre(just yet)... but to share a stage with Gary Mauer... let me put it this way for those who are not musical theatre fans it is like:

playing a round of golf with Tiger Woods

playing one-on-one with Michael Jordan

passing a football back and forth to Joe Montana, Payton Manning... no better Drew Brees

You get the idea, anyway it was an unbelievable event one that I will never forget.

Thank you Gary Mauer, Beth Southard and the Vascular Birthmark Foundation for making this happen.

Special thanks to the very talented Christine Shannon my singing partner who knows miracles can happen "When you Believe".
